How To Be Discovered

We are a proactive and engaged foundation. We regularly attend networking events, conduct desk-based research around biodiversity and conservation, and speak with those working in the sector. We also understand the pressure placed on charitable organisations when it comes to grant applications. As such, we do not accept unsolicited applications. Instead, we conduct our own discovery and due diligence processes and reach out to organisations when appropriate.

There are a variety of ways in which we might find out about organisations working toward our vison. These include:

1. Through our own desk-based research

e.g. Search engines, scientific journals, social media, online articles

2. Through our trusted networks

e.g. Environmental Funders Network, Big Give, Conservation Collective

3. Through the ‘Tell Us About You' submission form below

This form only asks for your basic information so that we can research further

Before completing this form, please make sure that you have reviewed our What We Fund page to ensure you meet our criteria. This includes being closely aligned to the criteria in one of our seven themes and adhering to our underlying principles. If, after reviewing these, you think you could be a good fit for The Helvellyn Foundation, then complete the below form.

Please note: We will not be making any new grants in this financial year. However, we still welcome submissions below so that we can hear about what’s happening in the sector. We juggle a lot behind the scenes and, whilst we would love to be able to get back to everyone who completes this form, it's not always possible. Thank you for your understanding, and for your interest in working with us
